Proveniente dal lascito dell'artista torinese Luigi Guglielmino.
La raccolta di bozzetti e disegni preparatori comprendeva principalmente opere del suo maestro, Enrico Reffo (Torino, 1831-1917), uno dei maggiori rappresentanti della pittura religiosa italiana della seconda metà dell'Ottocento.
Disegno di alta qualità, che mostra la continuità della scuola accademica di disegno italiana e francese, che continuò a vivere nello studio del pittore Reffo a Torino.
