Watercolour. Hand-Numbered "312" lower-right on margin. In very good condition except a little stain on the high left corner. Wonderful Watercolour drawing by Jan Peeter Verdussen, showing a Flora Study at the beginning of the 18th century. Passepartout included :49 x 34 cm Jan Peeter Verdussen (1700-1767) was a Flemish painter, draftsman and printmaker. He is best known for his battle scenes or equestrian paintings but he also painted wonderful landscapes with hunting scenes, gallant companies. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the licence according to the final destination of the artwork.
