Medium: Pencil on paper This is a study for a winged figure depicted in The Winds, the mural panel installed on the ceiling vault of the Huntington Avenue stairway at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The mural projects for the Boston Public Library and the Museum of Fine Arts lasted for thirty years, and the installation of the murals in the Museum of Fine Arts was the culmination of Sargent's career as an artist and muralist.
