About the Item

Arques is an original artwork realized by paul Louis Alexandre Wallet in 1861. Pencil on paper. Hand-signed by the artist on the lower left; monogramed, titled and dated by the artist on the lower right. Passepartout included. Good conditions. The artwork represent a natural landscape: it is the land around Arques, a little French village. The pencil stroke is very soft and the chiaroscuro define the mountains and the house. The drawing has been realized by Paul Alexandre Louis Wallet (Amiens, 1818), a French artist and landscape painter and drawer that exhibit at the Salon from the year 1857 to the year 1970.
