Brownish ink and grayish ink wash with white heightening on handmade cream laid paper, 10 5/8 x 8 1/4 inches (267 x 208 mm)(matrix). Scattered minor losses to top sheet edge (outside of image area), paper tape residue, scattered light brown discolorations. All consistent with age. A lovely little sketch of a man's head in ink on the verso with some accompanying inscriptions in Italian.
