"The Lulu" - Harbor Seascape in Watercolor on Paper
Serene watercolor titled "The Lulu" by Anne Ormsby (American, 20th century). A small commercial fishing boat, the Lulu, is docked by two small wooden boathouses. There are also two rowboats tied to the same dock. A few seagulls fly overhead. Of particular note are the glassy reflections in the water and the fine details in the rigging of the Lulu.
Signed in the lower right corner.
Artist's tag on verso.
Presented in a silver aluminum frame with a double mat.

Artist Statement: "Living in coastal California, surrounded by a large family and friends, provides me with a creative climate full of colorful opportunities and topics. I have always loved clear, bright color, and bold, vibrant design. I vary mediums based on the project or effect desired, and frequently combine mediums like watercolor and ink, or watercolor and oil pastel for interest."
