Vintage coastal landscape of Peniche, Portugal with boats and small figures by Buford Brooks Crossland (American, 1918-2013). Signed "Buford Crossland," dated "5-23-74" and titled "Peniche, Portugal" lower left. Dated and titled on verso. Presented in a black painted wooden frame and off-white mat. Image size, 9"H x 14"L.
Buford Crossland was a Bay Area artist, Born in Texas, but raised in Pomona, California. She attended San Jose State and was a graduate of Choinard Art Institute. She was a lifetime member of the Society of Western Artists.
