Born on the island of Malta in the Mediterranean, John Chetcuti became a watercolor specialist who settled spent much time in Rockport, Massachusetts and gave watercolor classes from The Ark Gallery in Rockport.
He was a member of the American Watercolor Society, Audubon Artists, Rockport Art Association, and the North Shore Arts Association.
