An impressive pair of watercolours by listed British artist John Whitney. The artwork showing a rive scene measures (45.5 x 56.5cm), window measures (24 x 35cm) and has an exhibition label on the reverse inscribed 'Manyley, Fowey Estuary, Cornwall. The second watercolour showing a cottage exterior, measures (63.5 x 52) window measures (35.5 x 25.5cm). With an exhibition label on the reverse inscribed 'Fishermans Cottage in State of Decay' and some biographical details. Both pieces are well presented in a double card mount and stylish wood frame. Signed. On wove.
