About the Item

"The Portrait" by Geneviève Zondervan (French 1922-2013) pencil/ charcoal on thick paper, unframed paper size: 24.5 x 18.5 inches Beautifully decorative, mid 20th century French original drawing by the French artist, Geneviève Zondervan (French 1922-2013). The work is stamped, verso. The painting has excellent provenance, having come from the artists estate in France. Zondervan's work has a beautifully tranquil and light feel to it, with a sense of space and time. Condition report: The drawing is in sound condition, though with old smudges and a few edge 'gnarls/ tears' to the very edges (which would not show once framed).
