AL DIAZ Accept and Embrace Madness/ SAMO(c) As a Suggestive Note

2015

About the Item

Amazing double sided Original Mixed Media Artwork by Al Diaz. Al Diaz is known for being the other half of the world famous SAMO© duo along with Jean Michel Basquiat. One side has thought provoking anagram by Diaz- ACCEPT AND EMBRACE MADNESS. Other side is boldly hand tagged with quote by Diaz, "SAMO©... AS A SUGGESTIVE NOTE..." which the artist added in 2016. Signed on bottom right of quote side with AL DIAZ 2015. This artwork was also exhibited at his show in NYC in 2015. The ACCEPT AND EMBRACE side is made with tile board and cut alphabets reminiscent of the WET PAINT signs found in NYC subways reworked by Diaz. Artist has self framed this work in aluminum frame similar style framing as found on ad message boards in NYC subway also. Framed with plexiglass and aluminum currently without hanging hardware we recommend having this original artwork professionally framed with archival materials keeping original materials as artist intended. RELATED ARTISTS: Invader, KAWS, Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Blek Le Rat, Cleon Peterson, Futura, Dran, Blu, Faile, Haring, Kunstasen, Mr. Brainwash, Zedsy, Swoon, D*Face, Street Art, Urban Art, Graffiti, Pop Art, Contemporary Art, Basquiat, Koons, Modern Art.
