Al Diaz
Wasted Paper

About

Al Diaz resurrects the SAMO© moniker he created when he was part of the NYC 80s street-art duo with Jean-Michel Basquiat. In his work, "Wasted Paper," Diaz takes elements from graffiti, outsider art, decoupage, collaged, graphics and typography and mixes in a social message about societal excess. Paper, spray paint, paint marker, and safety tape on linen.
