If you saw her studio, you would never guess MALGORZATA JABLONSKA is a painter. No brushes, no palettes. No tubes of paint either. That's because she paints with fabrics. In her signature technique, she uses layers of delicate fabrics - silk, nylon, chiffon - enclosed between two glass sheets to create unique pieces of art. The transparent frame enhances the ephemeral quality of her paintings and allows for unlimited display options. The paintings can be hung on a wall or in an open space. On another level, the transparent frame to see beyond the obvious, that's why any change of background will be critical to the effect her paintings have on each individual viewer.
