About the Item
"Ming Court Hotel", 2023
Camille Levert's work is imbued with her life in Hong Kong. Having spent many years roaming the streets with her camera, the city and its iconic neon
lights inspire her to create three-dimensional collages that allow her to deepen the process and play with our perception of reality. Meticulous in her
collage, weaving and cutting, she creates unique works that take us to the heart of the sprawling city, where we can appreciate its colorful meanders.
Born in France in 1974. Photographer and collage artist, working from France, exhibiting in Hong Kong. She has lived 5 years in Beijing and 7 years in
Hong Kong. In January 2009, Camille left the marketing world and settled as a full-time artist photographer, and started to work on her first collage
pieces. Since 2016 she has fully integrated the three-dimensional photocollage technic into her artistic approach, which allows her to push the
bounderies of photography and explore new fields such as time layers and the distortion of reality.
