Carla reflects on space and the construction of identity through a three-dimensional work, which takes the form of paintings, sculptures or installations of various materials. Her volumes dance between figuration and abstraction, and ask to be traversed, inhabited, appropriated.
Carla exhibits regularly in galleries in France, Spain and Morocco, her work is represented in public collections in Spain and Morocco, and private collections in Spain, France, United States, Canada, Italy, Belgium, Holland, England, Ireland, Switzerland and Morocco.
This work is representative of Carla's typical artistic style of reconstructing the medium (canvas) in order to create unique three-dimensional works. Her work takes conventional painting mediums and makes them unconventional, inviting us to reflect on the meaning of space and ultimately conventionality.
