Her work explores themes of time, space, color, perception, and human connection. Menza strives to create work that transforms through the passage of movement and time and that will form a quiet dialogue with viewer. Her work is activated and brought to life through light and materials that reflect and refract that light as you move across them. Many of her works create optical effects for the viewer as you change your angle of incidence, whereas her paintings contain thin layers of pigments utilizing light and reflective surfaces. The piece is combination of multiple techniques, multiple layers of acrylic paint, geometric abstract, collage, epoxy on the board. First, artists created an abstract background palette in pink, gold, dust pink, violet. After that, artist created larger scale geometric design - diamonds, lines, patterns. Then - another layer of the smaller scale geometric pattern, and finally - very detailed patterns, designs, geometric combinations. The unique antique art patterns transformed by artist into modern geometric abstract patterns. It can be perfect art for bohemian interior, modern, casual and rustic decor.
