About the Item
This print on archival paper is created by carving into a tetrapak carton. Tetrapak is the silver lining, notably in your almond milk or soup. I printed the tetrapak carvings of a vase and flower pot four times onto separate pieces of paper. This was cut up and cut out and placed on the larger paper which has a slight misty light green tinge which is not evident in the main photo. I had been looking at prints about flowers and this work was influenced from that. There is a metaphor that captures this work. Something that appears to be the same really is not. Thus, each of the four flowers and flowerpots are different in appearance. Sophisticated yet childlike at the same time.
