About the Item
Dramatic and compelling mixed media, collotype by Patricia A. Pearce (American, b. 1948). A mixed media artist test project painting using brown wash, gold leaf, silver leaf, and copper oxide. Some artists pencil notations and graffito. Level of realism can be seen in close ups with the ribbons. Patricia begins with the Collotype and then moves on to an elaborate process of paint and chemical applications to get just the right result. Subsequently each image within a series is a distinctly unique piece. We certify the work to be by the hand of Patricia Pearce. Unframed, unsigned.From a collection of her work.
