Originally from France, Sebastien Courty grew up surrounded by handcraft and art at an early age. He attended the National Art School of Paris in sculpture and painting. Based in New York City since 2012, Courty graduated from the renowned “Fashion Institute of Technology” in Textile and Surface Design. He founded his own Textile Art Studio back in 2018. Throughout his career, Courty worked and learned from masters in the industry. With his decorative approach and concept, Courty designs hand woven panels and free standing sculptures for interior designers, private collectors as well as foundations and governmental institutions. Courty exhibited his work all around the world, including Paris, New York, Beijing and Dubai.
