About the Artist:
"Seek One, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, began writing graffiti at the age of 15 under the name Seek One. After being raised in the graffiti and the skateboard scene, with years of experimenting in different mediums, along with a business and fine art degree, Seek One was born. He rediscovered his love for street art in 2015 when he began to transition to fine art. His work represents a combination of photography and graffiti expressed in a mixed media style deriving influence from pop culture and street styles. The significance behind each piece presents a unique form of authenticity that speaks to all ages and backgrounds. His day to day work focuses on power of popular culture while also focusing on the process of producing innovative fine art"

"As a contemporary artist, I aim to develop one of one pieces of fine art that bring iconic figures, vintage media and street style into one. My work stems from my background as a graffiti street artist and photographer while also depicting nostalgic influences from my childhood and world travels. Mixed with my obsession with popular culture and its influence on society; this drives me to channel that influence and incorporate it to my work. Blurring the lines between urban culture and fine art has established my unique style of art bringing iconic images and street style together. My goal is to develop timeless pieces of fine art that people of all ages can connect with.

About the Artist:
Allen's work has gained recognition world-wide for it's complex layering of mixed media works that create a narrative of modern American culture. His work today is a culmination of many years of painting, thinking and experiencing. He blends urban street art with his background of typography, mixed media collage, and abstract expressionism into each of his urban pop expressionist works.
The son of fine artist / commercial artist Harrison Allen, Mark learned a lot very early from his talented father. His think training also includes a bachelor degree in commercial art from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. He continued study at Parson's School of Design in New York City where he had an apartment across the street from Andy Warhol's factory (they met in 1982.) He continued study later at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
Allen is represented in galleries throughout the world. Museums he has shown in include The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum - Cleveland, OH; Experience Music Project - Seattle, WA; Memphis Brooks Museum of Art; Dallas Museum of Art, and Acadian Museum - Lafayette, LA.
He was a major figure in the graphic design community for over two decades. Much of his celebrated work is from the entertainment industry doing graphic design work for high profile clients including the 'Yu-Gi-Oh' logo, 'The Wizard of Oz' 60th Anniversary logo, redesigned Coca-Cola bottles, designed 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' logo for Disney and art directed for recording artist Sean 'P Diddy...
