Tetsuro Shimizu
With diplomas from the Sokei Academy of Tokyo in 1985, following his arrival in Italy in 1987 receives Diploma for painting at the Academy of Brera. The Painting of Tetsuro, student of Gottardo Ortelli, expands his work into a meditative suspended calm of color, recalling an iconic theme. The choice of mixing western and oriental/zen colors, exceeds the canonical dimensions of the painting through new dynamic and oblique forms. The sides of the painting expand and escape with a significant energy intended by the artist. Teaches at the Academia Di Brera, Milan and the Joshibi University of Art/Design, Tokyo.
