Anastasia Kurakina
Teardrops - Hand-made Flat Ceramic Dish by A. Kurakina - 2019

2019

About the Item

Teardrops is a beautiful hand-made flat ceramic dish realized by the Russian emerging artist, Anastasia Kurakina in 2019. Signed and dated by the artist on the back. This is a ceramic dish representing a crying woman with particular attention to the rendering of the teardrops and to the volumes. This is at the same time a decorative object, an artist's dish to show and a functional object to put on the table. In excellent conditions, realized in Maglie (Puglia), a South-Italy town well known for the production of ceramics. ANASTASIA KURAKINA was born in 1987 in Moscow (Russia). She studied in Moscow, in Rome and in Paris. At present, she lives and works in Rome. Her psychologically analytical works are a kind of art fables.
