About the Item
Beautifully decorated vintage porcelain charger or centerpiece made by the company Castilian. Condition is excellent. Circa 1985. Blue, orange, green and yellow colored design with gold stringing and highlights.
In 1977, Castilian began as a brassware and gift accessories import company. After 12 successful years in Mississippi, it was acquired by Simon and Lily Shen and relocated to Houston, Texas.
Simon had a vision for Castilian.Expanding the designs and materials, he headed up the design team and began introducing products in mixed mediums: porcelain, crystal, glass, wood, silver, and brassware. The result was beautiful,handcrafted pieces that were both innovative and traditional.
