Blackened wooden planter with polychrome ceramics

About the Item

After Charles-Guillaume DIEHL (1811-1885) & Emmanuel FRÉMIET (1824-1910) Blackened wooden planter decorated with arched felines, the central niche decorated with a fantastic creature in polychrome ceramic. The feet feature polychrome ceramic Chinese bases. Circa 1870. 24 x 46 x 34 cm A ceramic niche must be reattached to the planter. Small ceramic gaps on the felines. Some gaps on the wooden feet of the planter. Some wormholes on the body of the planter. Some zinc welds to be reviewed.
