Artist Comments
Artist Drew McSherry has a deep love for mythological creatures, especially ones from Greek mythology. "Centaurs and satyrs are some of my favorites as they represent the two different sides that exist within human beings," says Drew. "The human side that represents the expectations of society which often stands in contrast to the untamed, emotional, and creative side of the animal."
About the Artist
Drew McSherry finds inspiration in the paranormal and the darker parts of life. His images contain a sense of the macabre and oftentimes feel fantastical. He currently lives in California and has been influenced by artists like Eug;ne Carri;re and Odilon Redon. Fun fact: when he;s not painting, he is working on a series of children;s books.
