"Spring in California brings an abundance of wildflowers," says artist Kajal Zaveri. Inspired by long drives near the ocean, Kajal paints a vibrant piece capturing the scenery's most colorful hues. Blooming crimson flowers distinctly shine above deep cool blues. Its thickly textured surface brings with it a tactile and captivating finish.
About the Artist
Kajal Zaveri uses her observations, encounters, and memories of beautiful, natural scenes as the basis for her abstract works. “The colors and styling of my pieces evoke that sense of gratitude, joy, amazement and wonderment that I feel every day,†she explains. She hopes her paintings spark the viewer’s own fond memories of certain places and times. When she’s not painting, she enjoys reading and cooking recipes from around the world.
