Artist Stanislav Sidorov exhibits colorful umbrellas spread along the busy streets of New York. A bright display of hues parades along the streets amidst water puddles. "I like to use rain as a theme in my paintings because it is romantic and creates cozy feelings," says Stanislav. Part of his Umbrella series, which revolves around motifs of atmospheric conditions.

About the Artist
Stanislav Sidorov saturates his canvas with the expressive color characteristic of the Russian Realist School. While he is a versatile painter, Stanislav prefers painting the small town charms found in architecture and urban environments. He achieves a textured feel by using the pallet knife to apply copious amounts of emotion.
