Artist Rebecca Klementovich offers a vibrant mountainside view filled with multi-colored trees inspired by the Washington Valley of New Hampshire. "It is my favorite painting influenced by a hike on the mountain trail," shares Rebecca. "I grew up near the mountains and have spent so much time there. The light hitting the edges of the fall trees produces a subtle glow. It is this glow produced by the sunset that I was going for."
About the Artist
Artist Rebecca Klementovich paints expressionist views of the New England landscape. Merging her lifelong interest in fashion, she co-founded the group Femme Fatales of the North. "We are painting in gowns on the tops of mountains and slapping paint on canvases," says Rebecca. "We are an example of who the northern women are as artists." Her colorful palette and gestural style draw influence from her long career in the fashion world. Rebecca studied fashion illustration at FIT in New York and worked as a textile designer and art director for over twenty years. After leaving New York, she moved to northern New Hampshire near Mount Washington. "The mountains are nostalgic and lyrical, and this greatly affected my landscapes." Today, she spends many hours observing the fields, forest and sky, and the changing seasons.

Artist Gary Leonard portrays a compelling figure of a woman with alluring red hair and a striking side profile. With her hands on her waist, she tilts her chin up in poised confidence. Gary captures her emotion with combined styles of realism and expressionism. The dark background creates a dramatic contrast and emphasizes the tonal palette making it appear to be three-dimensional. Pops of vibrant colors in teal, red, yellow, purple, and blue add points of interest and a dash of whimsy.
About the Artist
Through composition, color, texture and more, Gary Leonard celebrates beauty. His works start with the subject, but then he lets the work evolve into a more complex composition. Oftentimes, he enjoys merging figures with abstract images and varying textures. He hopes that his works will leave the viewer with a sense of warmth and peace. When he's not making art, he enjoys listening to music and learning how to play the piano.

This expressive landscape was painted during one of artist Rebecca Klementovich's painting retreats on an island in Maine. "The sunsets were unbelievable," says Rebecca. "If you have ever been to a place where each night was spectacular when watching the sun fade into the horizon, you know what I painted here."

Artist Diana Rosa says this graphic, expressive portrait of 'Graffiti Man' is an outward portrayal of human emotion, as well as a personal fascination with the human head and skull. "The piece explores questions of identity and communication," explains Diana.
About the Artist
Lighthearted and jovial by nature, Diana’s contemporary paintings depict people in varied scenarios of indulgence. Whether it is a quiet moment alone in the woods, or a tantalizing rendezvous in the tub, Diana creates private moments in carefree or comedic ways. Her narratives often include humorous sexual tension between unlikely bedfellows, enough to elicit a chuckle from even the most stoic art lover. “I create a visual dialogue where everything is possible and magic is the queen,” says Diana. “[There is] a subtle injection of ambiguity that blurs the gap between the ordinary and the fantastic. The background of this sub-world appears to be transformed into an innocent children’s fantasy that almost looks like a dream.”
