Shakya Muni Buddha Thangka Painting with 24K Real Gold

About the Item

Hand painted thangka on canvas with a touch of real gold. In this thangka Buddha is meditating on a lotus throne. In the background snow capped mountains depicts himalayas. "Nirvana" which translates to a place of perfect peace and happiness, like heaven is painted at the back of Buddha's head. In Hinduism and Buddhism once someone is enlightened, one will attain Nirvana. Buddha's disciples are seen in different forms such as praying, offering fruits etc. Finest quality of artistry is seen on this art. A booklet which shows a detail process of making a thangka comes with the purchase. Thangka is considered as an "Art of Enlightenment". It is a must have art for art collectors.
