Artist Comments
I was inspired by my time spent while I was an artist in residence in Iceland. This is the view of the lake in Laugarvatn one morning in October during a dramatic sunrise with a storm clouds approaching the town.
About the Artist
Victoria Veedell loves capturing the essence of nature by creating landscapes that are not necessarily seen, but felt. She enjoys traveling and has completed residencies everywhere from India to Japan. When she;s not painting, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring. She finds inspiration in everything she sees, such as the moody and misty qualities of fog.
