About the Item
“ENDLESS BLOOM”
70×90 CM ACRYLIC ON CANVAS
Series “The Language and Knowledge of Ancient Aesthetics.”
These flowers are a manifestation of my love for the eternal.
They were painted from a bas-relief of the Borobudur temple complex (8th–9th century, Indonesia).
The reliefs of this sacred place served as visual sutras — a form of meditation and learning through image.
This graceful bouquet takes part in a scene where Brahma and other deities offer homage to the Bodhisattva, acknowledging his spiritual greatness.
This gesture symbolizes the eternity of consciousness — one that transcends time and the material world.
And it is this eternal consciousness that I see in the flowers from the relief.
Carved in stone, they have outlived centuries…
Neither humans nor living blossoms were ever destined to witness so much of the material world.
In essence, these are not real flowers — they are stone shaped into the form of an idea,
and that idea is a fragment of the sculptor’s consciousness.
Thus, only consciousness can bloom across ages —
bloom endlessly, surpassing time itself.

Ukrainian artist working under the pseudonym AreiRa. Born in 1988 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Graduated from the Kharkiv Academic Art Lyceum and studied Interior Design at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Since 2023, she has been actively engaged in painting, working primarily with acrylic and watercolor. Her artistic practice combines figurative and mythological imagery, exploring themes of inner transformation, spiritual resilience, and the search for harmony. She draws inspiration from sacred symbolism, architectural heritage, and the cultural codes of ancient civilizations, creating compositions rich in subtle metaphors and emotional depth. For AreiRa, painting is a form of meditative practice, where the material and the symbolic intertwine to open new inner dimensions. Her works have been exhibited in Ukraine and abroad. The artist’s practice evolves through a dialogue with philosophy and the visual language of global cultural heritage. Her works are aesthetic and spiritual focal points that harmonize space and open an inner silence.
