About the Item

"Tu M'as Dit Que J’étais Beau" (2024) is a textured abstract geometric painting inspired by Constantin Brancusi’s Endless Column. As a Romanian-British artist, I created this piece as a personal homage to Brancusi, who bridged Romania and France with his art and vision. The vertical rhythm of the central form echoes Brancusi’s monument while transforming it into a personal confession of beauty, memory, and affirmation. The palette draws directly from the French flag: deep blue and luminous white dominate, with the intention of symbolically including red as an unseen presence, a color of passion and love. The textured application of acrylic creates a sculptural surface, a tactile field where simplicity meets depth. This work embodies my need to explore love, desire, and hope through abstract geometry — to turn a phrase of tenderness, “You told me I am beautiful”, into a timeless form. IN This Life, My Soul is at the... - Acrylic on Paper, Abstract Painting, 2024
Located in London, GB
"In This Life, My Soul is at the End of the Journey" (2024) is a deeply personal abstract painting. The dynamic strokes of white layered over a blue ground suggest movement, dissolution, and the fragility of existence. The contrasting textures evoke both turbulence and stillness — a reflection on endings, vulnerability, and the search for peace. Created in 2024, this work embodies the artist’s commitment to emotional truth and confessional abstraction. Love, fear, loss, and insecurity are woven into the composition, turning private emotion into universal resonance. Direct from the studio of Aurelian Razvan Dinu...

EVERY Night, I Dreamed That You Would - Acrylic on Paper, Abstract Painting 2024
Located in London, GB
"Every Night, I Dreamed That You Would Love" Me (2024) is an abstract geometric painting built from vertical stripes of vivid, contrasting colors. The rhythmic succession of white, yellow, blue, orange, purple, green, red, pink, silver, black, and brown suggests both order and emotional intensity. The stripes vibrate together like a coded language, each hue carrying the weight of desire, longing, and unfulfilled love. The title guides the viewer into a personal confession: the repetitive pattern mirrors the repetition of dreams and hopes, returning night after night. Acrylic’s textured application enhances the immediacy of the work, creating a surface that is at once raw and luminous. Both deeply personal and universally resonant, this painting stands as a testimony to love imagined, awaited, and eternally inscribed in color. LIFE is Just a Way Through YOU - Acrylic on Paper, Abstract Painting, 2024
Located in London, GB
"Life is just a way through You" (2024) is an abstract geometric painting that layers vibrant colors into a rhythmic, almost architectural composition. Shades of red, pink, yellow, purple, green, grey, orange, brown, blue, and black intersect and overlap, creating both harmony and tension. The vertical and horizontal lines suggest pathways and barriers, echoing the journey of life as something navigated through others, through love, loss, and human connection. Exhibited at the Barbican Art Society’s Annual Exhibition in London (2024), this painting reflects the artist’s confessional style — deeply personal yet open to universal interpretation. The transparency of acrylic layers reveals vulnerability, while the bold colors assert resilience. Direct from the artist’s studio, it stands as a testament to honesty, desire, and the constant search for meaning in relationships and identity. Title: "Life is just a way through You" Medium: Acrylic on paper Dimensions: 41 x 31 cm (A3) Year: 2024 Condition: New Exhibition history: Annual Exhibition, Barbican Art Society, London, July 2024 Provenance: Direct from the artist, Aurelian Razvan Dinu

MY Blood is All I Have - Acrylic on Paper, Abstract Painting, 2023
Located in London, GB
"My Blood Is All I Have" (2023) is an abstract painting defined by its textured surface and striking contrasts of black, gold, and red. The dark background becomes a stage for golden gestures — fragments of resilience and survival — while the red mark, small yet intense, embodies vulnerability and the raw truth of sacrifice. The work carries both intimacy and universality: the title is as direct as the forms on the surface, suggesting that what remains after everything else is taken is the essence of self, symbolized through blood. Shown at the Brancusi Inspire exhibition in Paris (2024), the painting connects confession with abstraction. The heavy textures convey pain and endurance, while the interplay of colors reflects tension between despair and hope. Direct from the artist’s studio, it stands as a personal testimony transformed into a bold visual language. Title: "My Blood Is All I Have" Medium: Acrylic on paper Dimensions: 41 x 31 cm (A3) Year: 2023 Condition: New Exhibition history: Brancusi Inspire, Macadam Gallerie – Romanian Cultural Institute, Paris, June–September 2024 Provenance: Direct from the artist, Aurelian Razvan Dinu
