Dominika Krechowicz Born in 1964 in Gdańsk. Studies at the State College of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Faculty of Painting and Graphics. Diploma in the studio of prof. Kazimierz Ostrowski in 1988. Since 1996 she has been working at the Department of Visual Arts at the Faculty of Architecture of the Gdańsk University of Technology, currently working as a professor at GUT. From 1995 to 2003, she was a co-author of the "Koło" gallery in Gdańsk. AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS: 1991 - Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Art 1994 - Honorable mention in the competition "Gdańsk Graphics of the Year 1993" 1997 - Bronze medal and award of the Mayor of Bielsko-Biała in the XXXIII National Painting Competition "Bielska Jesień 1997" 1999 - participation in the international art project "Interim", Schloss Plüschow (Germany) 2002 - Scholarship of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship 2006 – Scholarship The Pollock - Krasner Foundation 2013 - Sopot City Scholarship for people involved in artistic activity 2014 - Award of the Mayor of Gdańsk in the Field of Culture (25th anniversary of creative work) 2021 - Award of the Mayor of Gdańsk in the field of Culture on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Galeria Koło
