John Frates
John Frates is an American artist born in 1943. He has been painting full time for the last 18 years and has exhibited his paintings in galleries and art shows in the North East and South Florida. His most recent paintings are abstract drip paintings inspired by Jackson Pollock as well as mid-century Abstract Expressionist painters. Frate’s paintings are powerful and provocative, demonstrated by his unique quality and style.
