Part of artist Lisa Carney's GeoFlora series of intensely mesmerizing blossoms. She shares floral abstractions in a soothing atmospheric scene inspired by ocean mist. Bursts of orange, white, and blue-gray splatter along the middle point where the solid navy and silver background connect. Lisa uses a drip painting technique that splashes the paint spontaneously onto the canvas, resulting in a lush and colorful garden.

About the Artist
Lisa Carney draws her inspiration from the earth's layers and the history they hold. The drips, splashes, scrapes and scratches in her art happen spontaneously and come together to create a cohesive whole. She began to craft a more organic feel in her works after noticing the texture in her works resembled plant roots. She currently lives in Canada and admires artists like Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman.
