About the Item

Artist Comments
The piece explores the concept of not seeing the forest for the trees, questioning whether one can strike a balance between observing details and grasping the bigger picture. This artwork is intended as a companion piece to be placed alongside "Myopia" on the right side, closely related in theme and style to its counterpart, enhancing its exploration of contrasting viewpoints."

About the Artist
Artist Shyun Song brings her unique perspective on life and human experiences to her creations, using shapes, lines, and color to illustrate abstract concepts and elements of psychology. "I let my intuition dictate a geometric composition by applying my symbolic logic," says Shyun. Her artistic journey has evolved from capturing emotions to exploring imagined naturescapes and conceptual paintings that delve into the inner lives of people. In her minimalistic New York studio, Shyun listens to her favorite British comedy podcasts while immersing herself in the creative process. In her spare time, she indulges in binge-watching European television series, reading books, and staying updated on daily world news.
