Master miniaturist, Beth de Loiselle's realistic oil 1" x 2" oval miniature painted on ivorine of England's popular dog the Skye Terrier is exquisitely detailed . The Skye Terrier, dog miniature is currently framed on simple faux velvet with a small beaded gold frame. More than just an exquisitely detailed painting of a Skye Terrier dog, the awe-striking painting is a conversation piece. Beth de Loiselle was a recipient of the Timothy Dill scholarship and studied old masters’ fundamentals at the Schuler School of Fine Art. Beth de Loiselle developed her own technique for miniature oils, an art form which dates back to medieval scribes. She presently teaches animal art and the art of miniatures at the school. Beth de Loiselle has exhibited paintings in New York, Paris and London and has received international awards for her miniatures. As pictured the painting can be placed in a pendant, quotes for jewelry are also available. Commissions of various sizes and jewelry items are available.
