When I go to the beach, I generally take a sketch pad and some pastel pencils with me. This painting is worked up from a sketch I did from my beach chair while in Cape Cod / Craigville beach. This painting is done on an oil primed linen panel and with proper care should look the way it was originally painted for many decades to come.
