Red Dog on the Moon is a painting made by Evelyne Ballestra, a French contemporary artist. This red and white tons expressionist painting is the representation of the artist's view of the clouds highlighted by the sunset coming around the moon.
Ballestra expresses a unique movement in each painting with a very subtle sensuality and a juxtaposition of colors to reveal light and shadows, creating a synergy between the piece and the viewer. She incorporates colorful narratives and cultural innuendos that are inspired from her travels around the world, especially Egypt, Latin America and the Seychelles.
