Anastasia Kurakina
Circus - Oil on Canvas by Anastasia Kurakina - 2019

2019

About the Item

Circus is an original oil painting on canvas, realized in 2019 by the emerging artist, Anastasia Kurakina. Signed and dated in black ink on the back. This original painting represents a happy dance or acrobatic exercise and flight in a pinck sky crowded with ballons. The silhouettes of the acrobats are detailed in the definition of their costumes and stand out against a homogeneous antique pink background. The contrast with the figures exalts the freshness of the sign and the dynamism of the scene. In excellent conditions. ANASTASIA KURAKINA was born in 1987 in Moscow (Russia). She studied in Moscow, in Rome and in Paris. At present, she lives and works in Rome. Her psychologically analytical works are a kind of art fables. A simple image or object from life transforms in a metaphora of life itself in her paintings. Her portraits and graphic works are philosophical essence of visible and seeming reality.
