Since August 2018 Sietse W. Jonker belongs to the group of artists that we permanently represent in our stock-exposition. In mid-2019, this still-life artist will take part in a group exhibition devoted to still life in painting. His work can be seen all year round and for sale through our gallery. To get to know us, we visited the artist in his studio in Leeuwarden. a centrally located donkey and a window on the Noorderlicht dominate the space together with the still life that he is currently working on. However, he was mainly known for his paintings 'with trains'. If you look further, you will see that Rein Pol has many sources of inspiration about which he can tell 'stories in paint'. With his work Pol is counted among the Northern Figuratives. Rein Pol exhibits a lot in the Netherlands. Abroad he exhibited in Germany, Norway, Poland, Switzerland and Indonesia. With the so-called Zwiggelte Group in France, the United States, Canada and Australia. Much of the painter's work is included in private collections.
