Winter Landscape with 3 Children, Sleigh Ride Genre Painting by Reknown Artist

Circa 1865


The depiction of a sleigh ride in the winter forest was presumably painted in the 1860s by reknown Austrian artist Carl Goebel. The oil painting which has still its original frame with floral elements, shows three children arranged in triangular composition. The painting is signed ‘C. Goebel’ lower right. The framed dimensions are 66.5 x 58.5 cm (26.18 x 23.03 in.).
