About the Item
A very whimsical depiction of a woman stepping out in the South of France. This piece captures the essence of fashion in Pairs. Done in a very modern and impressionistic style, the colors are bright yet subtle. Painted oil on canvas, signed and dated lower left.
Art measures 24 x 18 inches
Having built a diverse body of work since her early career ranging from portraits to abstract paintings of the universe, today Cindy's works exhibit a more impressionistic technique. She is mostly known for her consistent impressionistic street scenes which resemble the Ashcan school, depicting old cars on the road during the early 20th Century. Her whimsicality is precious, leaving much room for nostalgia in her works. For more than a decade her works have been a part of several important Exhibitions throughout New York City. Her works are part of private collections including ‘Dr. Issac Shohar’ and ‘Zion Yakabov’ in Tel Aviv, Israel, and ‘Alex Acevedo’ on Madison Ave., New York.
PROVENANCE: Lilac Gallery Collection. This original artwork includes a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Gallery. The piece is signed by the artist and stamped from Lilac Gallery on its verso.
