High quality work, an oil on board depicting the interior of a church with arches and stairs; the surfaces of the buiding is characterized by a warm and delicate shade. This work has been realized by the Italian contemporary artwork Claudio Martinenghi (Bolzano, 1942). With a visceral and figurative language the painter instil ideas that aim to rouse the "penned and unruffled" consciences and puts emphasis on the most tragic and dramatic point of view regarding our contemporaneity. Humankind crucified, dammed, massacres are the subjects treated.
