Oil Painting of Figures by a Tree Lined River in Irish Summer by 20th Century British Artist, Edward Albert Hickling (1913-1998).
Edward Albert Hickling was a British painter who was born in Nottingham, England in 1913. Both a painter and technical illustrator, Edward attended the Nottingham College of Art from 1927 to 1939, under Arthur Spooner. He exhibited his work at the Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, The Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters amongst others.
