PAINTING & MURALS
Juan Carlos Vazques Lima is a second-generation Cuban based artist—son to a painter and a sculpture. His whimsical works are inspired by the comical relationships between neighbors and the hurdles of daily life in Cuba—signature characters, their dogs, a distinct montage of wheels. Juan Carlos works in multiple formats, small intricate pieces to very large format murals. His paintings and drawings bring to life these original characters, which can be easily recognized anywhere—distinct similarities to the world famous Brazilian street artists Os Gêmeos. Juan Carlos has be in collective international exhibition in New York City, Provincetown Massachusetts and Nashville Tennessee.
