The palm fronds are moving but there is no wind. Two dunces face each other but don't speak. This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the sides. The work comes ready to hang.
About the Artist
Laura Robinson’s colorful, modernist compositions are inspired by her worldly travels. The bright palette seen in her current work is an homage to her time living in South America, and specifically her voyage back to her native Florida via the Caribbean. Her focus on architectural motifs draws from her experience living in Miami and the distinctive art deco cityscape of South Beach. Each work from Laura’s oeuvre is an eclectic compilation of the people and landscapes she’s encountered, and the resulting personal stories she’s accumulated.

Romanian-born painter Diana Chelaru’s paintings are colorful and contemporary interpretations of human emotion. For Diana, art is a means of communication. “It is how I express my thoughts, hopes, regrets and joys,” she says.
