About the Item

Lee Long Looi was born 1942 in Malaysia. He graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. He also studied at the Arts Students League and at the Pratt institute, both in New York city. He has had auction results as high as $13,400. This fantastic piece is an original batik which he did earlier in his career. The art measures 14 inches high by 12 1/2 inches wide. The faux bamboo frame measures 17 1/4 inches by 15 3/4 inches.
