About the Item
Lofgren Antique Window Display.
Marta Mężyńska was born in 1981 in Białystok Poland. Studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2001-2007 obtaining a diploma at the Faculty of Painting under the supervision of prof. Jarosław Modzelewski.
The main theme of her paintings is the architecture, blocks and storefronts, she likes to go into detail and to manipulate light and shadow. When selecting storefront sites is guided by color and interesting calligraphy. All her paintings are made with oil on canvas.
She won a distinction at the Takasaki International Art Competition in Japan. In 2004 she co-created stage sets and costumes for theatrical and film productions (Scenes from the Warsaw Uprising, The Crossroads of the Caffe, From Love). She lives and works in Italy, where she repeatedly presented her works in Milan, Pietrasanta, Pisa, Florence.
