About Orielle Anais Caldwell (1992)
French Mexican American currently living and working in California.
A multidisciplinary artist, Orielle’s body of work spans painting, sculpture, and performance.
As an audiophile music plays a key role in the creation of each piece. Orielle carefully curates her sound while she’s working to embody the art she creates.
A trained dancer, she’s enraptured by her observations of the body in motion and depicts what she feels in her own body as music pours through her.
As a female artist primarily depicting nude women she’s passionate about women’s liberation and bodily sovereignty. Be it art, performance, or movement training, women’s power is integrated throughout every aspect of Orielle’s work
Orielle is currently sculpting a lifesized figure for a collaborative art installation, The Temple of Being.
